Volunteer
An Essential Partnership

Volunteers play an important role in the realization of our mission. Volunteers help individuals to fulfill their goals by pursuing common interests, learning new skills and increasing community participation. They are key partners in the services we provide and valued members of individuals’ support networks.

Becoming a Volunteer

Volunteers are screened and matched according to their individual preferences, skills, interests and availability. Community Living Kingston and District ensures all volunteers receive a thorough orientation, ongoing guidance and support. Volunteers are reimbursed for any costs associated with their volunteer roles.

Inspiring Possibilities

There are endless possibilities for volunteers to share their time, energy and talents. They can volunteer as recreational partners, mentors, companions, teachers and coaches. Opportunities exist to provide assistance to people of all ages and abilities and in a number of settings. Contact Community Living Kingston and District today to find out how you can make a difference in someone’s life.

"Don't think a small group cannot change the world. Indeed, it is the only way it has ever happened." (Margaret Mead)
